Lambeau Field Trip
On Wednesday, October 30th, a group of DECA/SALT students from Waukesha South High School took a Field Trip to Lambeau Field for Green and Gold Career Day. Students toured the Packers Hall of Fame and got an in-depth look inside Lambeau Field. Students got to see the player entrance, field, and one of the many suites in the stadium.
Students attended three sessions which focused on different aspects of the Packers Organization. During the first session, the students learned about the Packers Pro Shop and what it takes to run a successful Pro Shop. The session discussed the importance of employees having a stellar attitude, real listening skills, and the ability to be self-motivated.
During the second session, students learned about the Community Outreach Programs that the Packers Organization currently organizes within the community. The students learned about different outreach programs the Packers have including Youth Football Outreach Camps, Free Community Events, Blood Drives, and Leadership Development.
During the final session, students learned about the marketing analytics that the Packers currently use. The students got an in-depth look at different technology and how they use fan insight to improve their marketing strategies.
Thanks to Ms. Hillary Nick and the Green Bay Packers Organization for inviting us to a fantastic event!
