RETURN TO PLAY AT WAUKESHA SOUTH -WINTER SPORTS INFO
On October 9, the WIAA has released their Winter Return to Play Guidelines for athletes amidst the COVID-19 Crisis. The complete guidelines can and should be reviewed by clicking on the link below.
PLEASE TAKE THE TIME TO READ THROUGH THIS DOCUMENT AS IT PROVIDES INFORMATION ABOUT ALL ASPECTS OF OUR ATHLETIC PROGRAMS, INCLUDING ATHLETE & FAN EXPECTATIONS AND NEW PROTOCOLS THAT WE MUST FOLLOW TO PLAY.
The following documents will help our families navigate the guidelines and requirements put in place to allow our student-athletes to play sports at South. Please note that as part of the return to sports, a SDW COVID-19 – School Activities Student Permission Form, Release and Hold Harmless form has been integrated into the registration process. Families and athletes that choose to participate in fall sports (or any sports until this waiver requirement is removed) MUST sign off on this form to indicate that they are aware of the inherent risk that is being taken simply by choosing to participate at this time. You may certainly review this form here, however, once your athlete registers for their fall sport, this waiver is part of the process and you do not need to complete it twice.
Athletes will be going through daily screening as a requirement for participation.
